What is a Drop Off Service?

We recognise that a lot of our lovely customers are just as prepared as we are – and have all their documents ready to go as soon as the new financial year starts! And even if you don’t, the drop Off Service is a great way to get yourself organised and access our expert accountants without needing to waste time with meetings.

How does a Drop Off Tax Return Work?

It’s a simple five-step process.

• Let us know you would like us to do your tax return! Simply fill out our form on our Tax page. This just lets us know we need to get ready and assign the case to the right person and get started. You can also contact us by phone or email if you like, but the form is faster.
• We will send you a link to our special Content Snare form. This form has been built with you, and your taxes, in mind. The wizard will ask you questions, which you can answer immediately, or hold for later so you can work on your taxes at your own pace. It provides a checklist system, which makes it very easy to see what sections need finishing and notifies us when you’re ready to proceed!
• One of our tax experts will look over the form and documents, and make sure it’s compliant. If we have any questions, we’ll pop them into Content Snare, so you can see them, and there’s a record of what we have asked, and when. Your answers also go into Content Snare, so we’re not hunting around between emails, phone calls, and other communications to find your answers! You will get an email when we add queries to your tax return.
• When we’re satisfied, we’ll send you a notification for Review and Approval. After you have updated our form and answered our queries, we are ready to roll! While we complete and check your taxes, it’s still your responsibility to review and make sure we haven’t missed anything!
• Once the tax return is approved and digitally signed, we’ll wait for payment before we lodge your return. These days it takes around 7 days for tax returns to be processed by the ATO. If you haven’t heard from them within 14 days, let us know so we can investigate for you!
